MRS Claims | Adding Videos to LMS Training Course

Purpose: This SOP provides step-by-step instructions for Royal Executive Assistants on how to add videos to the Learn section for Mrs. Claims.

Step 1: Access the Account

  1. Log in to Mrs. Claims’ account.
  2. Navigate to the LMS (Learning Management System).
  3. Go to Courses (Products and Courses lead to the same place).

Step 2: Selecting the Course

  1. Locate the appropriate course for training.
  2. Mrs. Claims will specify the type of video (e.g., Open EMR training).
  3. Click on the video section.

Step 3: Embedding the Video

  1. Obtain the video link provided by Mrs. Claims.
  2. If no HTML embed code is provided, use an existing one from a previous video.
  3. To do this, go to a previous video, edit it, and copy the HTML embed code.
  4. Duplicate an existing section to keep the format consistent.
  5. Update the video name, ensuring it follows the naming convention (remove redundant details if necessary).

Step 4: Editing the Video Embed Code

  1. Open the text block editor.
  2. Locate the existing embedded link.
  3. Replace the URL portion before the question mark with the new video link.
  4. Ensure the link contains “embed”; otherwise, it will not display correctly.
  5. If necessary, manually adjust the code by adding the embed portion.

Step 5: Preview & Save

  1. Save the changes.
  2. Preview the video to confirm it is displaying correctly.
  3. If the video does not appear, troubleshoot by:
    • Verifying the embed code.
    • Using a regular HTML link if the embed code fails.
    • Ensuring the link structure follows the correct format.

Step 6: Completing the Task

  1. Take a screenshot of the page where the video has been added.
  2. Save the screenshot in the designated storage location.
  3. Mark the task as complete in the system.
  4. The system will send an automatic notification to Mrs. Claims confirming the update.

Time Estimate: Approximately 7 minutes per video update.

Best Practices:

  • Always confirm the embed link contains “embed” to prevent display issues.
  • If issues persist, use an HTML text block as a fallback.
  • Document every change with a screenshot for record-keeping and support.
